Duane Culp of Choteau has claimed a Powerball prize worth $10,007. Culp’s ticket matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball on one set of numbers, good for $10,000. He also matched three of the white balls on his second set of numbers, which paid an additional $7. Duane bought his ticket for the October 21 drawing at Rex’s Market in Choteau.
Duane has worked on ranches in the Choteau area for many years. “This money is going to be put to good use,” he said. He plans on doing some work on his house and will also visit his 97-year-old mother in Washington over the holidays. “I try to see her at least once a year,” he added.
