We at the Lottery are very grateful to Super 1 Foods in Helena for letting us have our Lucky for Life launch event at their location. The Mighty Mo radio station came and we had a lot of fun. We had some delicious cookies that we purchased from Super 1 Foods that we gave out and the launch was a huge success. We look forward to seeing our new game, Lucky for Life, grow and thank all of our retailers for their continued support.

Three dollars doesn't get you much these days, unless you play the Montana Lottery. Kalli Kramer of Great Falls turned three dollars into $25,000 when she won big off of a Scratch ticket. Kalli came in to Lottery headquarters to claim a $25,000 Scratch top prize she won while playing "Wild West Slingo" with a ticket she purchased at Town Pump, 401 10th Ave S.; Great Falls.

Kalli scratched her tickets while she was in Town Pump and couldn't believe her eyes when she realized she had won $25,000! She was in such shock that she thought the ticket had to be fake. She read it over several times and then brought it to the clerk at Town Pump to have him check it. Once she realized she had really won she was overjoyed!

Kalli plans to buy a car with her winnings and then save the rest.

"Wild West Casino'" debuted December 17, 2014 with top prizes up to $25,000.

The Montana Lottery was created by referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $483 million in prizes and returned approximately $217 million to the State of Montana.
